Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 July 2026

The Oozler ("the app") is a golf scoring and side-game tracker for casual rounds among friends. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it.

What data the app stores

The app stores the following information, entered by you, so it can track your rounds:

Where that data is stored

Entirely on your own device. The app stores everything locally in your device's browser storage. Nothing you enter is sent to, or stored on, any server operated by the developer. There is no account, no login, and no backend database. If you delete the app or clear your browser's site data, this information is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered by the developer, because the developer never had a copy of it.

What is NOT collected

Third-party services

The app loads its typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). Loading a font from Google's servers may expose your IP address and general device information to Google, in line with Google Fonts' own privacy practices. No other third-party service is used.

Sharing between devices

If multiple people install the app, each installation keeps its own separate, private copy of its data. The app does not sync or share data between devices or users.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new "last updated" date.
